Our client is a highly respected Whole of Market brokerage with 25 years' experience. Headquartered in London, they are currently seeking a skilled and passionate trainee to work alongside their successful team of advisers, managing their vast client base across London and the Southeast.

Our client specialises in the HNW / Mass Affluent market and as such are seeking trainees with exceptional communication and client service skills and a genuine passion for the industry.
what we're looking for

The ideal candidate will be someone who’s already CeMap qualified and ideally working within the mortgage/property/finance industry, seeking a trainee MortgageAdviser position. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, with a proven strong work ethic. Ideally you will have some understanding of the current market trends and a thirst to gain further knowledge and understanding.

the position of trainee mortgage broker
This comprehensive training programme is flexible and designed to meet the needs of each individual as they progress toward achieving Competent Advisor Status (CAS). The programme is split into 3 phases and responsibilities will change with the completion of each phase. Initially you will be required to:

Actively assist the brokers assigned to you, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Handle administration, progression, and case management tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Regulatory Compliance: Gain a thorough understanding of, and ensure adherence to, all regulatory requirements.
If successful you will progress to taking on your own client base and new business enquiries to achieve full CAS status.

Consulting with clients to discuss their mortgage needs and financial goals

Providing expert advice and guidance on mortgage options, rates, and terms

Assisting clients in completing mortgage applications and gathering necessary documentation

Evaluating client creditworthiness and financial information to determine loan eligibility

Collaborating with lenders and underwriters to ensure timely processing and approval of mortgage applications

Staying updated on industry regulations and changes in mortgage products and programs

Building and maintain relationships with referral partners

Providing exceptional customer service throughout the entire mortgage process
required skills/experience

Fully CeMap qualified

Degree educated, ideally in finance, economics, business or a related field

At least 1 years’ experienceworking within the mortgage/property/finance industry
-
Enthusiasm and ambition to learn and grow within the mortgage industry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients

High level of professionalism and integrity

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritising effectively.

Competent computer literacy and professional telephone manner
